Minutes for Roudebush Woods HOA Board Meeting
26 February 2008
- Call to Order
- Location: Noblesville Public Library
- Time: 6:04 PM
- Members present: Ron Driesens, Steve Everman,
Bob Hackenberg, Robin Fleming, David York, Donna Zenthoefer,
Hank Thompson
- Minutes from last month were approved and are now online at
roudebushwoods.org.
- Preliminary Business
- Financial
We are working within budget.
- Architectural Submissions
A previous decision by the board regarding the height and
appearance of a playset was appealed by the homeowner. The
board decided to accept the appeal because there is no height
regulation spelled out in the covenants. However, the
homeowner was instructed to improve the appearance of the
playset by staining it a uniform color and to have this done
by April or May.
- Old Business
- Playground signs
We have received the new playground sign. Robin and Donna will
have it installed in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
- Playgound equipment repairs
The playground equipment has been repaired and is ready to be
reinstalled. Hank was asked to have it installed within a week.
- Entrance signs replacement
Previous to the meeting the board had approved the execution
of two new entrance signs for $5000. These signs have been
ordered but there has been no date set for when they will be
delivered and installed. It was felt that the sign at the
Promise Road entrance is newer and in good enough condition
that it doesn't have to be replaced.
- Entrance sign landscaping
We are still waiting for US Lawns to come back with a plan.
- Woods deed
It turns out that the woods have not been separately platted
and this is preventing the woods from being deeded over the
Roudebush Woods. Thompson Development is currently reluctant
to incur the expenses for the platting.
- Sidewalk damage near 191st St. and the woods
The city has contacted the utility company about repairing the
sidwalk damage.
- Roudebush Farms contact
Steve Everman attended a meeting between the board members of
the Roudebush Farms HOA and a representative of the
developer. It appears that the developer is reluctant to give
much financial support to the HOA for the responsibilities
that they must meet. Steve made sure that there would be
enough funding to support the Farms' obligations in supporting
the pool facilities. There is a chance that the Farms HOA
will not take over for a while.
- Pool contractor and facility
The pool contract has been signed by DJ Pools. Steve has
asked for approval to spend not more than $600 on
miscellaneous items and repairs for the pool. This was
approved 6-0.
- New Business
- Fee for storing archived documents
CASI is now charging $24 a year to store archived
documents. The board approved paying the fee 6-0.
- Easter Egg Hunt
Kami Probst has volunteered to act as a coordinator of an
Easter Egg Hunt that will be shared by Roudebush Woods and
Faith Community church. This was approved 6-0. We will need
volunteers to pick up fallen branches in the woods prior to
the event.
- Meeting Adjourned
Meeting adjourned at 8:09 pm
