Call to Order

Approval of Minutes

Minutes from last month were approved and are now online at roudebushwoods.org.

Architectural Requests

There were no architectural requests this month.

Budget Review

There is nothing unusual with regard to spending versus budget at this time

Old Business

Yard sale There is a yard sale for this weekend (May 1st and May 2nd). There is also a community sale for several neighborhoods around Noblesville. Signs are being made and will be placed at both entrances and possibly at US 37 and 191st St. Signs will be painted with a white background and black lettering. We will be able to reuse them for other notices by painting over them.
Yard Lights The addresses of homes that have had yard lights out for three consecturive months will be sent to the city for enforcement.
Review of legal charges for non-payment A homeowner is contesting the legal charges assessed for non-payment of 1st quarter dues. We are reviewing the issue to see if there was an error.
Woods common area Piles of debris/limbs were picked up and arranged for city disposal. Fortunately, it appears that several neighbors helped pick up some of the piles. If you are a homeowner and would like to collect fallen limbs from the woods common area for your use, please do so. Be aware that there is still some poison ivy on trees. Do not touch anything that looks like a vine in wood piles. If you have brush or dead tree limbs, the city will pick this up on the normal trash collection day between now and mid-October. The bundles can be no longer than 4 ft and 18 inches in diameter. The bundles should be tied and place between the curb and ths sidewalk in front of your house.
Cattails in the retention pond There was a discussion of renting a gas powered hedge trimmer to trim cattails close to the water level. We are doing this in preparation for improvements provided by a city grant. This work will be done by volunteers.
Pool opening The opening of the pool is scheduled for Saturday May 25. We are planning a meet-and-greet at the pool on Friday May 24. Information will be posted on the website and in the pool packet.
We have approved a new pool company for operating the pool and managing the lifeguards this year. AquaDocs and Bauserman Neighborhood Pool Management have teamed together to provide this service.
We are discussing options regarding pool expenditures. One major concern is the wading pool. Due to requirements imposed by the recent Graham Baker Act, we are looking at a fairly major modification of the wading pool.
Tonda Gorsuch of Roudebush Farms sat in on the meeting. She expressed a desire for Roudebush Farms to have more input in pool issues.
